Manchester Guided Tours previously ran regular Coronation Street Tours that offered a fascinating insight for ultimate Corrie fans. Coronation Street moved to its new home back in when a practically identical set was built from scratch. Sitting inside The Rovers; whilst it took you a moment to get your bearings, the perspective is slightly different from your view on the telly , it was amazing to be in The Rovers pulling a pint!
Follow the Corrie Stars; a chance to look around their dressing rooms or make yourself comfortable in the Green Room where Corrie stars learnt their lines or made a cuppa!

The tour takes place at Manchester's MediaCityUK in Salford, Manchester - and it's advised that you take the tram from Manchester City if you want the fastest route to the set. Unfortunately it's highly unlikely that you'll get to meet any of your favourite characters as the tour takes place when the cast and crew aren't filming. So unless you happen to be lucky enough to chance across a cast member who's decided to pop in on their day off, you might have to accept that the set is the only part of the show that you'll be able to enjoy in the flesh.
