The original members of the group were Christina, Katherine, Lisa, Amy and Lauren, who launched the band in Their covers and original songs feature their signature harmonies and are more often then not acappella. The solos are split up between the six of them on every song.
Harmony parts are assigned according to vocal range and lyrical age-appropriateness. Because the girls do not swear and have many younger fans, they sometimes change the lyrics of a song they are covering to make it more age-appropriate. Each song was written by Christina and Lauren with the vocal harmonies arranged by Lisa. It was not officially released under a record label. Dani Cimorelli, the youngest sister, officially joined the group. I sat in my seat, and the thought, "Wow. Wouldn't it be cute if I married him here one day? Bizarre, but cute. He indeed was working in Louisville, but every weekend, on his way home, he would stop by my house, take me on dates, making time for me. This was special. As months passed, we knew this was it!
This past February, we snowed in. We took the time to start researching rings. I found the perfect stone! Sadly, I went back the next day to save the link, and someone had bought it already!
We took a vacation to Asheville, NC. Our airbnb was the cutest cabin. We found the most beautiful and quaint parish to attend Mass while we were enjoying our vacation. The day before we came home, we were at a daily Mass early in the morning. After Mass, we decided to stay and pray a Rosary, but the lovely church ladies decided it was time to clean up and chat instead. I was ready to leave, but Alex wanted to stay.
I decided to go wait in the car. In a panic, Alex decided to join me. I homeschooled my entire life until I was 16 and went to college. This was back in and somewhere along the next few years my five sisters and I decided to put up videos on YouTube of us singing. I dropped out of college at 19, moved away from my hometown of 19 years, my boyfriend of 2 months, and a normal life.
Sister girl group Cimorelli have announced that Dani is leaving the band. She had the courage to share with us that she wants to pursue other career paths outside of YouTube and has made the decision to move on from the band.
Lisa Cimorelli is engaged and you might recognize her fiance! The year-old singer just announced her engagement to year-old New Found Glory singer Chad Gilbert after almost two years of dating. Not long after Lauren came into the family, another little girl was born. Danielle, although close in age to Lauren, was very different from her older sister. Where Lauren was more sporty, Dani her nickname from a young age was more of a girly girl and was obsessed with carrying a purse and a pink toy cell phone.
Dani was sassy and fun, and up for any adventure. Dani was quick to learn and try new things, and always excited by a new experience. The next child in the Cimorelli family was another boy, Christian. He was naturally deep, inquisitive and very smart. More on the introverted side, Christian loved reading and music.
He started playing the drums when he was 2, learning new rhythms very quickly and with ease. Christian also loved writing songs and he made his siblings smile with the lyrics he came up with.
