I will seek the matter in court. As far as I'm concerned their a illegitimate business outfit, I had issues myself and forwarded information on to the authorities and what they do with it will be up to them as the amount I lost wasn't much but this was a wake up call for me.
I tried going into zbiddy and when i saw the package price i exited out. I have tried several times to contact them by e-mail and by phone.
I haven't had any results nor any responds from them. I wish I had reviewed this site before signing up with ZBiddy. I looked at it like doing transactions with e-bay and amazon. You bid you win and then money extracted for winning. This site is a total scam as the other posters have said. Will have to see how that works if at all! This is a scam site. They also charged me for just browsing their website and said they don't give refunds. This site should be shut down! I'd like to visit them just to show them what I think of their little scam.
I might even ask my friend "Joe" to go with me to rough them up a tad. Edsel Overall. I received no answer from them and turned them as a SCAM site.
So I end up closing my account for lack of support. Funny though, Best Buy keep sending me a new card. They just don't get it, lack of common sense. I can't believe zbiddy. I would be ashamed just working there and not notifying the consumer of the ongoing fraud.
Read the terms and conditions. Know what you are authorizing or not, and Understand what these bidding sites actually are; they are highly competitive, not easy to win, almost gambling, game sites.
It's entertainment. It's a lottery. You compete to win a prize. And next, about the prizes Ranging from gift cards worth from 25 up to dollars each of gas cards, retail store cards, restaurant cards, Starbucks cards, airline cards.
I have received many items, to include a Dyson DC41 Vacuum cleaner, an assortment of headphones, a couple of computer accessories including two excellent monitors and other items.
I have won, but not received, both an Apple iPad and iPod. I "won" all these items though hard work; spending hours at the computer, analyzing, developing techniques, timing, and luck. It really is a competition. As in all competitions, there are many losers. To win at all, to participate, you must buy bids. Lots of them. And you may lose them all. It can be very frustrating. Only the strong survive. Most people that stick with it will win something, and many times at a good price.
So that's the risk. Now, all that being said Update: All items delivered. The Samsung TV arrived right away, and the delayed Apple products have been delivered! Not only that, I received an even newer model iPad - the iPad Air - than the earlier model listed at time of auction: 4 There is no problem as previously reported - It was resolved. All items have been delivered. As others had indicated; they had not as of yet shipped out Apple products going back to this past summer.
I, too, had been put off exactly as previously described and awaiting resolution. They are still auctioning off Apple products as I write this review. This has been resolved satisfactorily. Additionally, I was just yesterday the winner of a Samsung TV, which I hope to receive within a couple of weeks time at the latest. I'll report back on this, as well. Obviously, if it's not resolved satisfactorily, or the TV doesn't arrive, I will rate the company down, accordingly. As far as penny auctions go this one is pretty good.
Would like to see more bid package options and more apple products. Overall great site though. App for collecting money by offering nothing. When you purchase you get Nothing and no way of recouping your Money. When you call customer service You have the honor of speaking to Someone who speaks broken English if your fortunate. They claim they will Return your money-don't hold your breath.
Still waiting after 2 years. Shame on me. Are they out of business? I get from some of these reviews that it takes time and patience to win. Unfortunately, I have neither. So my goal it to spend all of my bids and get off this site. What I don't understand is how they can charge me shipping and handling for bids I've one.
That is ridiculous to me. Is it even legal? My experience is that they are very very slow in delivering products that have been won. With that being said, auctions could be won at reasonable prices if you are patient and watch long enough to understand when and at what prices other bidders get bored and go away.
Here are some other tricks that I found that address some of the concerns that others have. When I signed up, I didn't give them my credit card information because I didn't trust them.
I exited at the point that they were asking for my credit card. I didn't give them any credit card information until after I had won an auction. There is a Spin The Wheel page where you can win up to 10 free bids a day by spinning a roulette type wheel. You can only do this once in any 24 hour period. The trick is to click on "spin" and if it isn't going to land where you want it, just click any other link prior to the wheel stopping and you can go back and try again.
I retry until I get 9 or 10 bids each time. I have won some good items that have been delivered, but there are some auctions that I won back in December that have still not been delivered and the selection of new auctions has recently dropped to almost nothing.
Looks to me like the site is shutting down and I probably won't get the last items that I won. Am glad more people agreed that this site is fraud.
Just in case I saved most of my chats conversation with them, all their promise and fail. They are total fraud even though at the initial time they were okay and later all the things i won including ipod never received them and some that i received didn't work, they even gave me an empty usb card reader. I left more than one thousand bids for them when I noticed they were playing games and more over nothing good to bid for from them. Tip for consumers: Do not even try them plssssssssssssssssssssss.
I doubt I'll ever see my money again, but this place is totally fraudulent and a complete rip off! I feel like this is a total bait and switch and I want my money returned.
As it stands they have no return policy so I am contacting my credit card company today! This place is a total scam! I have just read negative comments about this zbiddy and unfortunately, I have just joined them!
HOW do I delete my infos? I have been trying for over a year to win anything worthwhile on this site. Now it seems the only thing available to bid on is pure junk. They have quit auctioning all but a few gift cards except a few 5 or 10 dollar amt.
I'm still waiting for a response, refund, or merchandise I think that I just got scammed really good--I have over bids left If you bid and win you've already gotten scammed! Shame on me I did not even have a chance to order a smaller bid package. So I emailed them asking for a refund and after 3 days have not had an answer. So I tried to contact someone on instant chat. It took so long to get a reply that I was offline and then had to start over.
So I finally found a phone number and called and got someone with a heavy foreign accent with a lot of background noise too. But it is not a debit card! I have to pay for the gas and mail in my receipt for reimbursement. Oh, and there are very few items to bid on and the same things just rotate on over and over. Still Waiting for Items from Sept. Whats the problem??????????? I Paid no codes No product. I bid on z biddy mostly for gift cards.
Ovelall, i'd recommend it for gift cards. Have lost a bit on the larger ticket items though. ZBiddy Reviews. Please comment below if you can confirm as well.
