I'm gonna say Big Boss. Something noone every mentioned when they said "Boss let him win in the end due to her duty" etc, and she beat him so readily, breaking his arm etc. One thing noone ever pointed out though were actually 2 things. Thats why i think he lost the fight on the bridge. Then the next few the next few times they met, Snake seemed VERY reluctant to properly make anyreal attempt to try to really take her onand damage her, maybe due to the respect he had for her.

The Boss co-created it, so obviously she's the standard. Big Boss bested her, and Solid Snake bested him. So logically, he's the best with CQC. Covert Taskforce Member. Size and sturdy build was the biggest requirement for an effective CQC weapon. Rifles, shotguns and most longarms were next to useless due to their length. Pistols and knives were the weapons of choice. A knife, while sometimes used for stabbing and slashing, was mostly used to control the opponent. It couldn't be too large, and it required a serrated edge. On most knives, a serration was used to saw through wood and other tough material, but a competent CQC user could pin the enemy's limbs in place during grabs.
Ideally, the tang would be one-piece, and the blade single edge with a serrated spine. The firearm used was generally a pistol. It must be reliable even when knocked around by CQC moves and pack enough punch to quickly take down an enemy. As it might be used with one hand, a very large caliber handgun or machine pistol might not work very well. The MA1 employed by Naked Snake had a number of ideal features.
CQC was also used with tranquilizer pistols, such as the Mk. I'm pretty sure that Ocelots hand in MGS4 is a cybernetic hand. I have no idea, I guess it would just sound weird calling Snake "Solid", and also calling the other Snakes just "Snake". It'd be like having a room full of Jesse's, you would be confused as to which one they were talking to.

And Grey Fox did chop off Revovlers arm, but the arm Revovler uses is none ohter than Liquids arm, who loses it in battle! Thats why Revolver is possesed by Liquid and is known as Liquid Ocelot because the new arm he uses was formely Liquids!
And as for the names, theres not much a reason just that they're called by their first name, except for Solid Snake they call him snake because he is a hero just like Big Boss and yeah their called by their first name, the way it should be, its better to be called John then John Abraham Smith fake name! User Info: machao Ocelot being possessed by Liquid was all an elaborate subterfuge designed to worry the Patriots, and make them send Solid Snake to take him out. All along, Ocelot just wanted to destroy the patriots, despite his assertions to the contrary.
In sending Snake after Liquid Ocelot, the patriots allowed Snake to get close enough to the patriot AI server to destroy it.
